The main goal at the Klickitat County Fair & Rodeo is to provide a safe, fun and family oriented environment. Frequently Asked Questions about accessibility, policies and general information are answered below.

FAQ

Motorized Vehicles, Side-by-Sides, Bicycles, Scooters, Etc.

ALLOWED

Vehicles that are licensed, insured and registered automobiles, trucks, trailers, and ADA approved transportation.

NOT ALLOWED

• bicycles, skateboards, scooters or otherwise
• electric bicycles, scooters, hoverboards or otherwise
• ATVs, Side by Sides, OTVs, or other similar vehicles

Parking

The patron Parking Lot is across from the main entrance to the fairgrounds.
Parking across from the fairgrounds main entrance is free.

Parking (ADA)

ADA Parking spaces are marked and available throughout the fairgrounds complex. ADA placards are to be displayed prominently inside the vehicle parked in designated ADA parking spaces.

ADA Grandstand Seating

A seating area for our guests in wheelchairs is located at the west and east end of the grandstands, accessible by the exterior ramps. This area is based on space availability.

ADA Restrooms

All buildings on the fairgrounds are equipped with restrooms that accommodate our guests with special needs.

Smoking & Vaping

In compliance with Washington Initiative 901 RCW 70.160, smoking or vaping is not allowed in public buildings, or within 25 feet of building entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes that serve enclosed areas where smoking is prohibited.

Pet Policy

NO PETS

NO dogs or other pets are allowed on the Fairgrounds (including all buildings and all grounds) for the safety of all guests and participants. Licensed Service Animals specifically trained to aid a disabled person are allowed to enter.

Security

Crowd management provided by our local Sheriff’s department and Sheriff’s Posse

ATMs

The fair will have an ATM on the grounds at the front gate.

ATMs are also available at many banking and retail locations in Goldendale.

Refund Policy

Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Lost & Found

Lost & found items may be dropped off at the fair office located south of the main grandstand.
