GENERAL RULES
  • Exhibitors should identify each exhibit as to Division, Class and Description before presenting the exhibit for entry.
  • Photos must have been taken BY THE EXHIBITOR.
  • Entries judged within their age division – YOUTH or ADULT.
  • Mark your entry tag: A – Amateur; ADV – Advanced; PC – Professional/Commercial.
  • Photograph must have been taken in the past 24 months.
  • No photograph which has previously entered at this fair may compete for a premium again.
  • Entrant may submit up to three (3) entries/class, in no more than five (5) classes for a total of15 photos overall/entrant. Exception: “Klickitat County” and “Picture of the Fair” - only one entry in each of these classes is permitted.
  • Entries shall be titled, but the title may not be on the front of the picture. The name of the Exhibitor shall not be on the front or back of the picture or matte board. Name may only be on the entry tag provided by the fair.
  • Prints under glass and/or rigid frames will not be allowed.
  • Hanging tabs provided – do not put on your own hanging tabs.
  • All entries must be mounted on matte board or foamcore board. Window matte boards are acceptable.
  • MINIMUM MATTE BOARD SIZE 8” x 10”. MINIMUM PRINT SIZE 5” x 7”. MAXIMUM MATTE BOARD SIZE 16” x 20”. MAXIMUM PRINT SIZE 16” x 20”.
  • Entries may be flush mounted, but may be no smaller than 8” x 10” or larger than 16” x 20”.
  • All reasonable care will be taken to safeguard entries, but no responsibility taken for loss or damage.
  • Entries are displayed as space allows.
  • Entrants must have claim ticket to pick up their entries at the conclusion of the fair.
  • All exhibits must be in place by 8pm Tuesday.
