GENERAL RULES
- Exhibitors should identify each exhibit as to Division, Class and Description before presenting the exhibit for entry
- All exhibits must have been completed by exhibitor since the previous fair and not previously exhibited.
- Entry must be original work of the exhibitor. Entries considered ORIGINAL must: 1. Be created by exhibitor. 2. Be taken from own photo 3. Be accompanied by written permission shown at time of entry if using another’s copyrighted work or another’s photo
- Mark Division on Entry Tag: A-Amateur: paints for pleasure only and has little or no training; Professional – paints with primary intent of selling and /or has a diploma, certificate or degree of 3+ years in art school or is teaching their art media
- Artwork must be presented secured in frames with wire fastened to screw eyes or metal tabs made for the purpose of hanging art. SAWTOOTH HANGERS OR EASELS ARE NOT PERMITTED. EXCEPTION for Youth up to 12 years old, art that is matted, but not framed is acceptable. Use heavy tape and wire or string with enough slack to hang properly from either the mesh screen display or carpet wall display area provided.
- Subject matter & hanging methods must meet standards of Fair Board and/or Superintendent or it could be rejected.
- Size of entry is limited to 24” x 36”, excluding frame
- Due to space limitations, no more than 4 (four) entries per person. Entries may be made in any class. Example: 2 (two) Watercolor, 1 (one) oil and 1 (one) acrylic for a total of 4.
- All exhibits must be in place by 8pm Tuesday.
