In 2009 Chance McKinney, at the time a math teacher at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo, Wa., entered Country Music City Madness Competition for unsigned artists with his single "Be Real". He entered the contest only a few minutes before the deadline. The contest ran from Oct. through Dec., and he knew he won when he had received over one million votes in the final round! McKinney was teaching a class when he learned that he had won the contest. He took out his guitar and played the song for his students. His students finished the song for him when he became too choked up to finish the song.
Chance McKinney N' Crosswire toured with Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. They have also opened for Kenney Chesney, Big N' Rich, Blaine Larson, Martina McBride, Little Big Town and Toby Keith.
Chance plays "industrialized country" which is a blend of Country Music with 90's Rock, 60's Motown and Heavy Metal influences. He was a huge hit by all last year and was requested by all to return this year. So come and enjoy a free concert Saturday, Aug. 26th at 8:00p.m.
